When on the GoDaddy pages, be sure to record three things: the domain name you pick (e.g. MyNewWebsite.com), your GoDaddy account number, and your GoDaddy password. GoDaddy advertises optional extras, but you guide you through skipping them so you get only what you actually need. On the opening screen, enter the domain name you would like.and then click GO.

 

 

 

On this screen, if the domain name you want is available and already checked, make no changes. You don't need multiple choices. If your first choice is taken, you can hit the BACK browser button and select your second choice. Click "Add and Proceed to Checkout".

 

 

 

Click "No Thanks" on this screen.

Fill in the Domain Registration Information. Provide your contact information where the fields are marked with asterisks. Click "Continue".

Fill in Registration and Checkout Options. Be ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN to click the Economy or Deluxe box for Hosting. You can pick a shorter term for Registration length. Skip the SmartSpace offer. Click "Continue".
